Geneva Marks, 91, of Centerville, passed away on October 16, 2017 at Bethany Village. She was born on February 25, 1926 to the late James and Fannie (Cantrell) Ladd in Lenoir City, TN. She was a member of North Dayton Anglers. She was employed with GM at their Delco Division for 32 years.

Geneva is survived by her niece, Shari Weidner, who lovingly supervised her care for 6 years with great help and love from her husband, Bob; grandchildren, Kimberly Springer, Alicia Vaughn, and Monica Vaughn; great-granddaughter, Ashley and great-grandsons, Aaron and Joseph "Joey" Keith. In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William M. Marks, who with great love and tenderness was dedicated to her care and well-being. Her only child and son, Keith R. Vaughn, also preceded her in death by 6 years. He was the sun and moon of her life. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory the following nieces and nephews, Frank Little Jr., David Ladd, Anita Ladd, Terry Wood, Rebecca Pippik, Joy Clendenon, JoDee Watts, Sandy Jenkins, Linda Brown, Gerry Paul, Junior Ladd, Diana and Doyle, and Duke Little. Additional nieces are Wanda Sexton, Betty Mattingly, Sandy Fisher, Glenna Tucker, and nephew Doug Marks. Also special mention to her 1st cousin, Ruth Wathemathe, who faithfully visited her. She was visited faithfully for 6 years by her youngest great niece, Savannah Higley, who Geneva taught to sew and had an all-around good time with. Also a great thank you to Nancy Frederick of Chase Bank who was invaluable in helping her manage her financial situation, she has also become a wonderful, loving friend to both Geneva and Shari. A loving mention for Abigail, a beloved niece, who was like a daughter to Geneva.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439.
