Geneva Chinn, age 84 of Cincinnati, passed away December 26, 2011 at Ivy Woods Nursing Home. She was born April 5, 1927 in Dayton to the late Samuel and Willie Ross. In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Sanders; 7 brothers and sisters.
Geneva is survived by her sister, Bee Morgan; brother, Eddie Ross; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was a member of Carmel Presbyterian Church on Reading Road in Cincinnati.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Turner Road Church of Christ, 450 Turner Road, Dayton, Ohio 45415, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Pastor Dennis Epperson officiating. Burial to follow at West Memory Gardens. Arrangements by Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
