Gene Paul "Peanuts" Haverstock
Age 75, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Oak Creek Terrace.
Gene was born January 15, 1931 in Dayton to Harold & Elizabeth Haverstock. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Alan and Bobby Haverstock.
He is survived by his loving companion of many years, June Webster of Huber Heights; six children, Karen & Barry Spector of Bellevue, WA, Brenda & Michael Magnes of Los Angeles, CA, Denise & Rolf Tremblay of Gig Harbor, WA, Lisa Haverstock of Huber Heights, Dana & Kenneth E. Wolfe of Italy and Paul Haverstock of Winter Springs, FL, their mother, Mary Haverstock of Sun City Center, FL; sister, Charlene & Joe Campbell of Huber Heights; and eight grandchildren, Michelle Matlock, Lindsay and Remi Spector, Evan and Maureen Tremblay, Joshua, Kieran and Julia Magnes.
Gene retired in 1981 with 30 years of service with the Wright-Patterson Air Force Museum. He loved golf and baseball.
Memorial services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am – 12 Noon, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer that contributions be made in memory of Gene to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
