Gene Kabler
Kabler, Gene age 56, of Springboro, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Sycamore Hospital. Gene was a United States Army Veteran and a loyal member of Vineyard Community Church in Franklin.
Gene is survived by his wife of 21 years: Annetta (Stroup) Kabler; son: Eric Kabler of Springboro; daughters and sons-in-law: Renee (Garry) Hobbs of Medway, Carmen (Mike) Irving of Mason City, IA; grandchildren: Tyler, Zach, Nick, Maddie; father-in-law and mother-in-law: William & Mary Stroup of Springboro; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leo & Clara Kabler; brother: Robert Kabler and sister: Jackie Wells. Gene was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to the family.
