Gene E. Howell, age 64, of Springboro, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012.
Gene was born October 29, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa to the late Robert & Jean Howell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sharon Howell; children, Chad Howell, Colin Howell, and Reneka (Michael) Marker; grandchildren, Jacob and Kaden Marker; siblings, James (Edith) Howell, Lawrence (Patricia) Howell, Sue (Robert) Jennings, and John (Kimberly) Howell; mother-in-law, Jane Erickson; sister-in-law, Sandy (Paul) Oehrtman; brothers-in-law, Steve (Vickie) Erickson and John Aulabaugh; and many other relatives and friends.
Gene served in the Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Atos. Gene and his wife were pursuing their own business, Memory Savers. They spent many years traveling the world.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 10am-12pm at Epiphany Lutheran Church (6430 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, OH 45459). The service will follow at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gene's memory to the charity of one's choice.
