Gene A. Wells, age 79, of Miamisburg, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Lena Wells; and daughter, Kimberly Jo Wymer.
Gene is survived by his children, Lori (Steve) Jaspers, of Sunbury, OH and Devon (Becky) Wells, of Northern KY; 1 grandson; 5 granddaughters; and many other relatives and friends.
Gene served in the U.S. Navy as a radar operator on the Midway & the Wasp, during the Korean Conflict.
He retired from the Dayton Post Office after 30 years of service.
Gene enjoyed gardening and collecting antiques.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel.
