Geanise L. Piatt

Geanise L. Piatt, age 71, of Dayton, went home to Heaven on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born October 30, 1943 in Shelbyville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Tommy and Ruby Giles.
She was an avid U.K. fan and animal lover.
Geanise is survived by her loving husband, Dale; two daughters, Angela (Jerry ) LeBlanc and Susanna Piatt; son, Michael Centers; three grandchildren, Cassidie Anthony, Dylan LeBlanc and Ciarra Centers; two sisters, Doris LeCompte and Elise Smith-Giles; brother, Buddy (Nina) Giles; and many nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Dayton National Cemetery following the services.
The family requests casual dress for the services, or your favorite sports team. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. The family would like thank the critical care staff unit and pastoral care at Kettering Medical Center.
