Gayle Bateman

BATEMAN, GAYLE A. (Nee Lightcap), passed away August 2, 2007. She was born on September 10, 1959 in San Antonio, TX. Gayle graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1977. She was employed by Hermes Abrasives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Violet Boes and David and Vera Lightcap and also by her cousin David Brockman. She is survived by Roger D. Bateman, her husband of 13 years, also by her mother, Anita G. Lightcap, her father David J. Lightcap, her brother Mark W. Lightcap, her half-sisters Judy Ross and Karen McKay, and her half-brother Kevin Lightcap. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Viewing will be from 5-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek on Wednesday August 8, 2007. Funeral services will be at 10AM on Thursday August 9, 2007 at Peace Lutheran Church on Dayton-Xenia Rd. with Pastor Tom Bernlohr officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the charity of your choice in Gayle's memory.
