Gary G. Unroe, age 77, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on November 5, 1943, the son of the late Earl Unroe and Dorothy Angel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sharon Deimer and his brother, David Unroe.
Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Unroe; children, Jeff (Sherene) Unroe, Dianna Lynn (Michael Blanton) Marker and Cynthia (Scott) Boling; grandchildren, Shelby, Calvin, Katherine, James, Abby, Brittaney (Tim), Bethaney (Anthony), Trenton, Kaleb and Alysa; great grandchildren, Evan, Owen and Raelyn; step-mother, Marjorie Unroe; siblings, Jimmy (Akinga) Unroe, Beverly Keck and Craig (Sherry) Unroe; and many other loving family and friends.
Gary retired from Senise, after many years in the Sales Industry. He was a Volunteer Fire Fighter for many years with the city of Kettering. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling and playing BINGO. He adored his time spent camping and fishing with his family. Even though Gary had a tough exterior, he had a heart of gold and was always there for those he loved.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2021, at 4:30pm, at University Baptist Church, 2223 Hanes Rd., Dayton, OH 45432.
"The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places."
