Founder of Tremaine's Volvo (1965), a Father to Gary Todd and Amy Sue, who gave everything of himself, material and physically, to provide safety and well being of his two children, against law and social norm, Gary was an honest and savvy businessman with exceptional talent. He gained numerous customers and friends over the years. In 2008, Gary Todd took over the business to continue the lasting legacy with generational and new customers.
He loved his family. He continued over the years to give to various family members including his grandchildren. He kept photos surrounding him of Emily, Adam, Hayden and Anavieve. He would stop by sometimes with his latest shopping finds to say "I was thinking of you". It might be lunch, dinner or a phone conversation with friends or loved ones. He would call and say "hey you watching channel 500? There's a great show on". He did the best he could to show he cared and not always the way others thought it should be ,but it was his way.
Many of his family and friends could go on about his tales of Florida, cars, guns, politics, antiques, saved change, or who was the best candidate for the next election but we all know Gary in our own way. He was anything but a simple man...he was a father, a friend, our mechanic, and our beloved Gary Lee Tremaine.
Gary Lee Tremaine is predeceased in death by his father Clyde Harold Tremaine, and mother Floy Anavieve (nee Clifford) Tremaine, his eldest sister, Lois Jean (nee Farthling) Kindell- Jobe, his sister Beverly Sue Minton (nee Tremaine). He is also survived by his sisters Joyce Ann Richards (nee Tremaine), and sister Saundra Kay Dunn-Green-Justice (nee Tremaine), and numerous nieces and nephews.
