Gary S. O'Brien, age 58, of Beavercreek, passed away on August 28, 2012. He was born on September 20, 1953 in San Diego, CA to the late Thomas J. O'Brien and Patricia O'Brien, who survives.
In addition to his mother, Gary is survived by, his daughter, Kelley (Josh) Marker; grandchildren, Westin and Kinley Marker; siblings, Barbara (Jerry) Hemmelgarn, Connie (Brian Jarvis) O'Brien, Bill O'Brien, Erin (Greg Bell) O'Brien, Kristy (Dave Leo) O'Brien, Tom (Mona) O'Brien, Kelly (Ken) Maxwell and Holly Whalen; special nephews, Andy and Danny Cook and Brian Burke; numerous other nieces, nephews, family members and close friends.
Gary was an avid fisherman that loved The Browns, NASCAR and dogs.
A memorial gathering will take place on Friday August 31, 2012 from 9:30-10:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, with a memorial service to follow at 10:30 am. Donations may be made in Gary's memory to the local humane society of your choice.
