Gary Roundtree, age 58 of Huber Heights, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Monday, August 19, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Joyce Ann Roundtree; grandparents, Esbon and Vica Lou (Anderson) Roundtree & Johnnie Ed and Nannie (Jones) Leach; cousins: Jon and Jamie Nelson; numerous aunts, uncles; cousins; best friend, Bryan Nesbitt; and his special four-legged buddies: Rusty and Rudy.
Gary was a former employee of Hooven - Dayton, where he made many friends with whom he kept in touch.
Gary is survived by his sister, Debbie (John) Amburn; nephew: Todd (Elise) Amburn and their children: Kye and Ivy; nephew, Greg (Cassie) Amburn and their children: Evie, Aiden and Riley; special aunts and uncles: Aunt Linda, Uncle Dave and Joe & Adriana Warnock; numerous other special aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, friends and his four-legged buddies: Abby, Annie and Kane.
Gary was an avid bowler before his knee injury. He loved his sports and his conversations around the Cincinnati Reds, Kentucky Wildcats, Ohio State, Bengals and NASCAR. Gary loved to talk to everyone, never met a stranger and will be missed by all.
A memorial gathering for his final resting place with his parents will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia, Ohio at a later date.
