Gary R. Newton

NEWTON, GARY R., age 52, of Beavercreek passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond D. Newton and step-father, Robert Macklin.

Gary is survived by his mother, Marlene Newton Macklin; step-mother, Brenda Newton; grandfather, Arthur Ulshoefer; sisters, Tammy (John) Cochrane of Hiram, OH, Katherine Newton (Nate Browning) of Bellbrook; brothers, Dale (Pat) Newton of Miami Township, OH and Steve (Robin) Newton of Middletown, OH; 9 nieces and nephews, and 8 great-nieces & nephews. He graduated from Bellbrook High School in 1980. He was owner of Gary Newton Trucking. Gary's fun loving nature and sense of humor will be sorely missed. Gary was a friend of Bill W.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alcoholic Anonymous, 211 Liberty Tower, 120 W. Second St., Dayton, OH 45402 or the Community Blood Center.
