Gary J. Packer "Joe", age 75, of Germantown, passed away July 6, 2021. He was born November 6, 1945 in Kentucky to the late Thomas and Virginia (Weisgerber) Packer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angelia Renee' Packer, grandsons, Edward Anthony Chism, Stephen Joseph Linkhart, 2 brothers Tom and Jim Packer and sister Gayle Callahan.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Debbie (Ogan) Packer; children, Yvonne Packer, Krystyne (Bill) Packer Edmondson, Lisa (Joe) Daugherty, Dawn (Dennis) Witten, John Packer, Ed Chism; 9 grandchildren, Danielle, Cheyenne, Shelby, Brianna, Shawnee, Tommy, Hailey, and Audrey. He is also survived by his 5 great-grandchildren, Riley, Elijah, Eleanor, Benjamin, and Penelope; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Family was most important to Joe. He had a strong love for his American Indian heritage, American history, his country and spending time outdoors. Joe also enjoyed travelling, his motorcycle, playing golf and also had many other interests.
He will also be remembered for his larger than life personality, living life to the fullest and his sense of humor.
