Tinnell, Gary Lee, 53, of Dayton, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015.
Survived by brother, Jim Tinnell (Charlene Davidson); sister, Darlene Walsh (Clay Elam); niece, Joy Haskell; his 95 year old great aunt, Margie Crabtree; his aunt, Bonnie Tinnell; and his beloved pets and wonderful friends and family. Also survived by his best friends, Kim, Melinda, Frank, Gena, and Evelyn. Gary will also be greatly missed by all of his dogs, Tinkerbell, Mischief, Ginger, Bubby, and Buttbutt, and by his cats and birds.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Alene and Richard Tinnell, and his beloved grandmother, Mariba Hunter.
Gary was larger than life and lived life to the fullest. He was an avid gardener, landscaper and aquatic pond enthusiast.
Gary loved the holidays especially decorating for Halloween and Christmas. He was an incredible cook,loved his Reality TV shows, and was also a " Manny" to Jason, Ian, Cory,Brett,and Christopher while he lived in Colorado many years ago.
He performed at the Dayton Playhouse and danced with the Miami Valley Dance Guild and was the Concierge at Crown Plaza/Stouffers. Gary was a loving caregiver to his father and grandmother. He was involved with the Troy Bird Rescue, and was the caregiver to many pets, creatures and wildlife.
Gary was a SUPER brother, brother-in-law, uncle, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gary's family to help with funeral expenses. Any donations in excess of funeral expenses will be donated to the Miami Valley Bird Club and Rescue or to 2nd Chance Wildlife in Gary's memory.
