Gary K. Hicks

Gary K. Hicks, age 72 of Riverside, passed away January 11, 2016. He was born January 9, 1944 in Dayton to the late Lewis and Minnie Mae Hicks. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death his brothers, Jimmy and Chucky Hicks and sister, Mary Hicks.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Hicks; children, Gary Hicks, Jr., Louie Hicks, Sheila (Carl) Davenport (Paul Story) and Junior (Robin) Asher; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Jolly; favorite nephew, Philip Norrod and many other nieces and nephews.

Gary worked and retired from General Motors, Delco on Foyer Blvd. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Family will receive friends from 11AM to 12noon on Saturday, January 16 at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439 where a funeral service will begin at 12 PM. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton.
