Gary Lee Houtz, Jr.
February 17, 1975 — September 20, 2019
Gary Lee Houtz, Jr., age 44, gained his wings on September 20, 2019 after a long lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Lee Houtz, Sr.; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents, his pappy, Ronnie Collier; two uncles and one aunt.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother: Sandra Collier; sister: Jennifer; 5 children, Kayla, Gary III, Dylon, Mark and Channing; 1 granddaughter, Kayleigh; two aunts; two uncles, Arvinia and Dan Hicks and Tony Noble and Nancy Schiessler; numerous nieces, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the critical care team at Kettering Hospital, especially his nurse, Madison, for her dedication and compassion. A special thank you to Leticia Cooke for her love, care and compassion for the 12 years Gary battled.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 7 PM with Pastor Tim Baker officiating.
Contributions may be made to Leticia Cooke, to help offset memorial expenses, in Gary's memory.
