Gary L. Guinn, age 72 of Tipp City, passed away October 26, 2018. He was born July 16, 1946 in Dayton, OH to the late Roy Jr. and Rosemary (Smith) Guinn. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory A. Guinn.
He is survived by his son, Robert "Robbie" Guinn; Aunts, Maxine Baldasare and Linda (Dennis) Carter; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
He was a high school graduate from Trotwood Madison. Gary was a Vietnam Veteran having served on the U.S.S. Vance DER-387 in the U.S. Navy. He is a member of V.F.W. #2800 and was president of the golf league there. Gary was also a member of AmVets 24 and American Legion 746.
Family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH where a memorial service will begin at 1:30 PM. Inurnment with military honors will take place following the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
