Gary F. "Joe" Evans, age 78, passed away on Friday, March 7th, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn, his daughter, Theresa, his parents & his brother.
He is survived by his children, Vivian Mangen, Vickey (Bill) Salley, Rebecca Hoover, Ramona (George) Hunter, Rita Bishop, his 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one stepson, Perry (Julie) Boatman, 2 brothers, Emerson (Geneva) Evans, Charles (Cheryl) Evans, 2 sisters, Kathryn (Mike) Whitney, Carol (Richard) Roby, and many other family members.
He retired from Dayton Builders Building Supplies.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel on Thursday, March 13th, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM with a service immediately following at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
