Gary Dunn

DUNN, Gary Lee, age 70, previously of Sidney, OH, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Wilma Dunn.

Gary is survived by his wife, Judith Dunn; children, Tammy (Doug) Pietrzak, West Milton, OH, Darwin (Elizabeth) Dunn, West Carrollton, OH; 3 step-daughters, Kathleen (Larry) Campbell, Milledgeville, GA, Carol (Steve) Vennard, Mason, OH, Korrina (Mark) Donald, Chesapeake, VA; 4 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Rosalie) Dunn, Beavercreek, OH; sister, Sharon (Alden) Jenkins, Westerville, OH, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Born in Dayton, OH, he was the owner of Arlo's Pizza locations in the Dayton area before selling his business and turning to long haul truck driving in 1994, moving to Sidney in 1995. Health forced retirement in 2012. His passion was playing cards at the Sr. Center and American Legion in Sidney.

He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother, whom will be missed by all.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Dayton National Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9:30 - 10:30 am on Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, the Sr. Center of Sidney - Shelby County, OH, or the American Legion, Sidney, OH.
