Cress, Gary Lee age 73, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020. He was born in Troy, Ohio on January 11, 1947 to the late Ralph Clinton and Ada May Cress (nee Augustine).
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Randy Cress, Denny Cress, Larry Cress, and Jenny Driver; and nephew, Greg Cress. Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Sherry Cress (nee Carrell); daughters, Tracy (Jared) King, Shelly (Ezra) Peterson; grandchildren, Bryan King, Bridget King, Bradyn King; and a host of other family members and friends.
Gary proudly served his country in the United States Army. After his service, he fell in love with Sherry. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. You couldn't keep Gary inside; He loved being outdoors, tinkering in the garage, and spoiling his grandchildren.
