Gary Childress, age 52 of Huber Heights passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Gary was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Orbrey and Vivian Childress.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Joyce Childress; children, Stephanie Childress (Fairborn), Catherine Childress (Fairborn), Kevin (Angie) Kinmann (North Carolina), and Kristina (Gabe) Witte (Huber Heights); grandchildren, Billy, Tyler, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Zachery, Donzel; his loyal dog, Toby; brother, Richard (Martha) Childress; niece, Denise Hurtt, nephew, Kenneth; and many other loving friends and relatives.
He was a lover of history and music and avid outdoorsman. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
