Gary O. Boyd

Gary Olen Boyd, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. He was born on April 26, 1938 in Peebles, OH to the late Hazel and Jim Boyd.
He was very active with the Mason Lodge St. Johns 13 with a 32nd degree Master Mason, including 32nd degree Scottish Rite and he was a Shriner. He was President of the Teamsters Retiree Club Local 957 and he was President of the OTR in Ohio. He was a Truck Driver at ABF Freight Lines for 30+ years. In his spare time, he loved woodworking, the Wayne Warriors, Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Martha L. Boyd; his brothers, Jim Boyd Jr., Arlen Boyd and his sister, Judy Ward.
He is survived by his children, Polly (James) Moore, John (Gwen) Boyd, Cindy (Ken) Keivel, Joe (April) Boyd; his 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Gary will be laid to rest in Locust Grove Cemetery in Peebles, OH.
Private services will be held at the families convenience.
