Gary B. Schaaf

Gary B. Schaaf, age 63, passed July 1, 2016. In loving memory of Gary who was born July 10, 1953 and passed on July 1, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard P. Schaaf; mother, Sophia Schaaf; sister, Geraldine Brest; brother, Richard L. Schaaf.

He is survived by his sister, Colleen and husband, Michael; nephew, Richard M. Schaaf; aunt Joyce Schaaf and various cousins and friends.

Gary graduated from UD and then worked at WVUD Radio Station with Steve Kirk. He also worked with Gilley's owner, Jerry Gillotti on a Sunday radio show featuring jazz and at 106.5 in Greenville. Gary retired from Meijers and did volunteer work for Childrens Hospital in Dayton. He was a member Aerie 1391 in Minster, OH, Knights of Columbus in Huber Heights, Moose at Crystal Lakes and Polish Club in Dayton.

He will be missed greatly, especially by his Dayton friends and lake friends in Ft. Loramie.
