Gary Alan Adkins

Gary A. Adkins, age 46, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009. Gary served in the U.S. Air Force where he retired after 21 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward H. Adkins. Gary is survived by his children, Gary A. Adkins II and Nicholle E. Adkins; mother, Ruby E. Carollo; the mother of his children and childhood sweetheart, Barbara Adkins; brothers, Edward (Sheila) Adkins, Michael Adkins and David Adkins; sisters, Judith (Paul) Sellers and Linda (Bill) Anthony; several nieces, nephews and two great-nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, June 26, 2009 from 1-2 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432). The service will begin at 2 pm. Burial will follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.
