Garth Edward Hapner, age 52, of Dayton, passed away on November 16, 2022. He was born on January 10, 1970 to Donald R. and Frances E. Hapner.
Garth was a very humble man who loved to fish and was an outdoorsman. He liked his quiet time. He enjoyed helping people and freely shared his wisdom with others. He also liked mechanics and classic cars. He was a great uncle and loved spending time with his nieces, nephews and many life-long friends. He was honest and you always knew where you stood with him. He spent his whole life taking care of others and will be greatly missed by everyone that loved him.
Garth was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Hapner; his brother, Brent D. Hapner; his maternal grandparents, James Dayspring and Frances "Nana" Dayspring; paternal grandparents Donald and Doris Hapner, and aunt, Deborah Dayspring.
He will be remembered by his mother, Frances E. Hapner; his siblings: Breck Hapner, Kristofer (Vonda Glaser) Hapner, Brigetta (Robert) Hillius, and Ashley Deem; nieces and nephews: Nyketa Deem, Alexander Deem, Jasmine Deem, Jacqueline Hapner, Natalie Hapner, Alexis Hapner, Shane Hapner, Emily Glaser, Steven Glaser, and Blake Glaser; uncle Daniel Hapner, Shirley Hapner, and extended family and many good friends.
Friends and family are welcome to gather from 11:30am to 1:00pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, Ohio. A Memorial Service will begin at 1:00pm.
