Age 72, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Miami Valley Hospital.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl; and by one brother, Larry.
Garry is survived by his wife of the past 50 years, Izella L. (Rife) Satterfield; three daughters, Carole & her husband, Steve Ireland, Brenda Norman and Tonya Satterfield; two sons, Garry Satterfield, Jr. and Gerald & his wife, Christine Scott; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and by his extended family and many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday (10/20), at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
