Garnette W. Savely

SAVELY, Garnette, age 89, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Ida Whitehair; husband, Charles R. Savely; sisters, Lula Whitehead, and Bernice Sweezy. She is survived by her children, Deloris (Dee) (Michael) Hay and Joyce A. (Carl) Prater; grandchildren, LaDonna Savin, Constance Floyd, Heather and Michael Prater, and 6 great grandchildren. Garnette was a member of Stratford Heights Church of God. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
