Garnet B. Mullins, age 81 of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Soin Medical Center. He was born August 13, 1942 in Redwine, Kentucky, the son of the late Leonard and Ella (Adkins) Mullins.
He was a loving husband, dad, and papaw. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved going to church, reading the bible, and sharing God's word. He was a pastor for many years. He loved to bowl and loved to challenge his grandchildren to arm wrestle. He also enjoyed going fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Jeff, his siblings Angie Mullins, Phil Mullins, and Bonnie Sklar.
Garnet is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon (Conley); daughter Shani Thompson; grandchildren, Brandon, Shelby, Alison and Sydney; great grandchildren, Peyton, Cooper, Harper and Skyler, as well as siblings; Ann, Carol, Hobe, Barry, and Grady; and many other loving family members and friends.
He was loved deeply and will be missed by all.
A private service will be held for the family. He will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery.
