HUGHES, Garland A., 74, of Dayton passed away Saturday December 20, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents Lacy and Narcissia Hughes and 3 brothers. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Hughes; children Jeffrey Hughes and Narcissia Aubrey; grandchildren William Douglas and Daphne Brooke; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Bertha (Dixie) Copeland and Thelma Momon; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Garland was a retired veteran in the U.S. Air Force. Funeral services will be held 3:00PM Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 1:00 3:00PM prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be held 1:00PM Monday December 29, 2008 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St.
