Gabriele "Gabi" Allen, age 69 of Beavercreek, Ohio.
Our Gabi has joined her angels in our Lord's heavenly home. She fought a courageous battle against cancer never giving up hope to the end and gave all around her hope as well.
She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Frank D. Allen a former Air Force officer recently retired from TASC, Inc., her son Sean D. Allen and daughter-in-law Annabel of Leesburg, Virginia and daughter Michelle B. Allen and her husband John of Middletown, Ohio, two brothers, Rolf and Horst Roosen in Germany, two grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.
She was born in Ochtrup, Germany on May 27,1944 and preceded in death by her parents Hermann and Ernestine Roosen and brother Hermann.
Throughout her life Gabi touched a lot of people who recognized her for the caring person she was. Her smile and kind heart will be missed. Family will receive friends on 26 December from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek.
Donations to the American Cancer Society are welcomed.
The family thanks the Cancer Care Center at the WPAFB Medical Center and Hospice of Dayton for the care provided to Gabi throughout this long year.
