Frieda Anna Ofzky

Frieda Anna Ofzky, age 85 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home Monday, December 2, 2019. She was born September 19, 1934 in Ansbach, Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Anna Barbara (Rudelsberger) Wolzlein.
Frieda and Wilhelm were married and moved to Ohio in 1957 from Ansbach, Germany. She loved her family and dedicated her life to them. She was an avid horse mom, lover of all animals and a fabulous cook. She nurtured her yard with a magical green thumb and tended to her home as if it was her castle.
Frieda will be missed by loving husband of 62 years, Wilhelm; daughter, Barbara (Don Boyd) Ofzky; son, Robert (Lucretia) Ofzky; grandchildren; Dustin (Crystal) Ofzky, Alexander Ofzky-Boyd and Brandon Ofzky; great grandchildren, Lily and Ivy; brother, Rudi (Annalise) Wolzlein; and other special family members and friends including those in the U.S. and in Germany, especially Phyllis, Torrie, Elizabeth, John (Bridgette) Moseman; and fur grandbaby, Lola.
Special thanks to caregivers, Deonna, Susan, Carrie, Ashley and Misty for the kindness, devotion and peace of mind they provided Frieda's family during her last months.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends, Sunday, December 8, 2019 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frieda's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
