Freeda D. Martin

Freeda D. Martin, age 89, of Centerville, went to be with the Lord & reunited with her beloved husband, Olan Martin, on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

Freeda was born on July 4, 1928 in Morehead, KY to the late McKinley & Effie Sergent.
She was preceded in death by 8 siblings and survived by her youngest sister, Janice Jones, of Morehead, KY.

Freeda leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, Eugene (Pat) Fredrick, of Hopkinsville, KY, Ron (and the late Elaine) Sparkman, of Austin, TX, Rosanna Martin, of Dayton, OH, Twila (Jay) Robinson, of Wyoming, DE, Jimmy (Wendy) Martin, of Kenton, OH, Laura Ann Paisley and Robert Martin, of KY; grandchildren, Terran Bauer, Alycia Sparkman, Regina Thorne, Virginia Coffee, Scott Martin, Mica Scudder, Seth Martin, Aaron Wasmuth, Alison Noel and Steven Sparkman; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 10am-12pm at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 12pm with Brother Bob (Dyann) Norvell & Brother James (Kim) Setser officiating. Freeda will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Olan, at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH.
