Fredrick Wilcher

Fredrick Wilcher, "Fred," age 81 of Franklin, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021. He was born June 23, 1939 in Centerville, OH, the son of the late Woodrow and Delores Wilcher.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Wilcher; and daughter, Cathy Wilcher.

Fred is survived by his sons, Thomas (Lori) Wilcher, Matthew (Amy) Wilcher, Robert Ellis; grandchildren, Alekxandra, Milo, Phoebe, Hannah, Megan, Zachary; great grandchildren, Olivia, Ava, Jackson, Emma; brothers, Gary and Randy Wilcher; sisters, Betty and Linda Wilcher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Fred was a veteran of the United States Army and was a mail carrier for 33 years. He was also an avid Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals fan.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Hillgrove Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his wife. The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
