THIRTYACRE, Fredrick L., age 81, a long time resident of Riverside, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Thursday, October 30th. Fred truely loved working in his yard, and being close to home. He enjoyed swing dancing, roller skating and karaokee. Fred served in the US Air Force during WWII and had a distingushed 37 year career at WPAFB. He was a lifetime member (58 years) of the American Legion Post 598 in Kettering, Ohio. He is survived by, Ann, his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, he also leaves 4 sons and a daughter; James and his wife Gail of Franklin, Robert of Dayton, Deborah and her husband Ron of Ft. Myers, FL, Tom and his wife Mary of Centerville, Ken and his wife Cheryl also of Ft. Myers, FL; 5 grandsons, Shawn and his wife Kelly, Doug and his wife Laura, Marc, Devon & Brice; 3 grand-daughters, Lori, Shannon & Lauren and 2 great-grandchildren, Bailey and Gage. Funeral services will be held at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Tuesday, Nov. 4th from 4:00-6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Legion Post 598 or to the Gospel Mission, 64 Burns Ave., Dayton, OH.
