Frederico "Fred" Ventura, age 65 of Enon, OH went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his residence with family present. He was born October 29, 1951 in San Diego, California, the son of Frank and Aida (Moreno) Ventura. he married Nanci Berrie on October 18, 1997 in Warner Robins, GA.
Fred retired from the United States Air Force after 18 years of service in 1994 after proudly serving his country. He was employed by Tru Simulation at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where he was a flight simulator technician. Fred's passions were surfing, golfing, playing baseball and guitar. His sense of humor was well known and enjoyed by family and friends and Fred never met a stranger. Fred enjoyed life, loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Fred is survived by his wife of 19 years Nanci; a daughter, Catia Ventura; a son, Nathaniel Ventura; two step daughters, Rikki (Scott) Johnson and Becki (Shane) Reagan; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a brother, Frank (Leni) Ventura, Jr.; three sisters, Silvia (Zak) Ventura-Soderberg, Celia (Michael) Carr and Blanca Walsh; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Fred wishes were to forgo a visitation or service and his cremated remains to be scattered at a location special to Fred.
