Frederick Eugene Lowe

Frederick Eugene Lowe, age 70, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Fred was born in Dayton, OH on June 11, 1947 to the late Charles Eugene & Mary Helen Lowe.
Fred had a successful career in the computer industry lasting over 40 years; which took him all over the country. His hobbies included cooking and woodworking. Fred also enjoyed playing tennis for many years.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Schwerdtfeger.
Fred is survived by his children, Scott Lowe, Chris Plummer, and Eric (Susan) Lowe; grandchildren, Thomas Lowe, Cailin (Tully) Hoskins, Brandon Plummer, Hayley Schwerdtfeger, and Parker Lowe; great-grandson, Cannon Lowe; and siblings, Bill Lowe, John Lowe, Rob Lowe, and Anne Schofield.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 10-11 am at Newcomer South Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 11 am. Fred will be laid to rest next to his daughter, Amy, at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH.
