KRETZLER, Col., Frederick JR., age 88 passed away June 5, 2011.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Jean Reichert-Kretzler; daughters, Edythe Ruth Kretzler and Kimberly Katherine Haley; brother, Carl Kretzler; sister, Mildred Buirley.
He is survived by his children, Frederick "Jody" (Debra) Kretzler, III of Amanda, OH and Garrett "Gary" (Linda) Kretzler of Xenia, OH; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He retired from the University of Dayton as an engineering professor and was a retired Colonel in the United States Army. He also enjoyed flying and farming.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 10, 2011 from 6:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.
