Frederick Heindl

HEINDL, Frederick "Fred" age 85, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Dayton VA Medical Center. Fred served in the 6th armored division during WWII. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman who loved nature and photography. He also enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; parents, William and Dorothy (Borst) Heindl; and brothers, Mark, Raymond, and William. He is survived by his sons, Larry (Joyce), John (Sandra), and Edward (Gina); siblings, Ethel Jean and Alberta; grandchildren, Patty and Greg Vance, Kim Farmer, Michael Heindl, Jeremiah (Violet), Tera Kitchen, and Alea Bermudez; and great-grandchildren, Maddy, Terell, Alton, Ethan, Colen, Aidan, Trajan, Devon, and Seth. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Services will be 11 am Monday, August 24, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bearcreek Cemetery.
