Frederick D. Hill (Freddy) passed unexpectedly 3-26-14. Preceded in death by parents Cornelius and Geneva Hill. Brother, Larry Miller.
He leaves to mourn his passing 2 sons Frederick Jr, and Richard Hill, grandchildren, three brothers and one sister, Cornelius Hill Jr, Benjamin (Marilyn) Hill, Jimmy (Glenda) Hill and LaDoris Hill and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Freddy was an accomplished bass guitar player who had the pleasure of playing for groups such as Chaka Khan, Johnnie Taylor, Rufus Thomas, The Hamilton Movement and the Stone Funk Band.
We will celebrate Freddy's life with a memorial service and Jam session at Frank Ware Banquet Center 735 Cincinnati St, Dayton on Saturday March 29th from 12-4 PM. Special thanks to Freddy's friends and the staff at Forest View Nursing Center and Newcomer Funeral Home.
