Freddie Postway

POSTWAY, Freddie B., Sr. Born June 11th, 1937 in Pantherburn, MS to Andrew Postway, Sr., & Alice Marie Postway, went home to be with the Lord, on December 24, 2009. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Louise; brother Andrew Postway,, granddaughter Lakita Stephens; & half-brother Henry Postway. Freddie accepted Christ at the age of 15 at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He was employed at Delco Products for many years, an avid fisherman, hunter, & motorcyclist. Freddie was the business manager & member of the Vampire Motorcycle Club. He leaves to mourn his passing, children Diane (Donald) Riley; Freddie Postway, Jr., Monica Render, & Terrence (Terri) Postway, Sr.; Half Sisters Ruth (Andy) Lewis, Mary (Worthy) Kelly, Willie Postway, Sr., Curtis & Charles Postway, & Robert Postway, Jr., many grandchildren, & other family and friends. Visitation will be from 9-10am, Sat. Jan 2 at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where services will be held at 10am on Sat. Interment to follow, West Memory Gardens. The Family would like to thank Dr. Gary Palmer, Acclaim Hospice, & Friendship Village for their care of Freddie.
