Freddie Poland

Poland, Freddie H., age 94, of Trotwood passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Friendship Village. She was born January 4, 1914 in Lexington, KY. She was preceded in death by husband, William; parents Frank & Georgia Horn, and brother Frank Horn. She is survived by son, Fred of Dayton, grandson, Steven (Erin) Poland of Hilliard, OH, granddaughter, Adrienne Shonkwiler (Matt) of Lima, OH, and former daughter-in-law, Debra Edwards of Louisville, KY. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 from 10 AM-11 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, North Chapel. Funeral will follow at 11 AM with Rev. Barbara Wiechel officiating. Burial will be in Dayton Memorial Park.
