Freddie "Dale" Monhollen, Jr., 36, of Vandalia, passed away on September 26, 2021. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on April 28, 1985, the son of Freddie and Doris (Marksch) Monhollen, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald & Betty Marksch and Garfield & America Monhollen.
Dale is survived by his loving parents, Freddie & Doris Monhollen, Sr.; brothers, Codie (Hannah) Monhollen and Martinpaul (Brandi) Monhollen; his very special niece, Leah Monhollen; nieces and nephews, Aubrey, Teagan, William and Codie Michelle; aunt and uncle, Kevin and Karen Romleski; and many other loving family and friends.
Dale had worked for 8 years for F&P America in Troy, as a Welder/Fabricator. In his free time, he enjoyed gaming (at one point he was ranked in the top 500 in the world for World of War Tanks), fishing, hunting, traveling (including Japan, Mexico and Canada), cooking and most importantly spending time with his nieces and nephews. Dale was the most selfless person, always willing to help anyone in need.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where Memorial Services will begin at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to go out an buy a hunting/fishing license, and enjoy the outdoors as much as Dale did.
