HAMM, Freda M., age 87, of Germantown, formerly of New Lebanon, Ohio, passed away June 12, 2012. She was born January 29, 1925 in Newark, Ohio.
She worked at Gallagher's Drug Store and Monarch Marketing, graduated from Fairmont High School in 1943 and graduated from Miami Jacobs Business College.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Hamm; parents, William and Sylvia Mason; two daughters, Marilyn and Joann; sisters, Nina Powell, Patty Heitzman, Barbara Voge and Mary Isaacs. Freda is survived by her daughter, Linda Kash; brother, Johnny Mason; sister, Janet Boggs; special niece and nephew, Karon and Donrell Crawford; niece, Debbie Morgan; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Burial will be held Monday, June 18, 2012 at 11:00 am in Willow View Cemetery.
If desired, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Theresa Kandris at Sycamore Glen Care Center for her compassion and exceptional care.
