ROSS, Fred A.

age 87 of Centerville, formerly of Washington, PA, passed away May 23, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Fred was born April 8, 1919 in Marianna, PA, the son of Antonio and Mary Rossi. He served our country in the United States Army during World War II. Fred also served as community leader in Marianna, PA. He was a loving father and particularly loving, generous and kind toward his four granddaughters. Fred is survived by his sons, Tony (Ginger) Ross and Jim (Mary McCaffrey) Ross; sister, Rose Cecchini; brother, Mel F. Ross; granddaughters, Gina Ross, Lisa (Denis Maddock) Ross, Angela Ross, and Amy (Brian) Hendrix; and great grandson, Oliver Rossi Hendrix. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Angeline M. Ross; and brother, Dominic Ross. Family will receive friends 7:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2006 at Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, 336 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Immaculate Conception Church, 119 W. Chestnut St., Washington, PA with interment following in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray, PA. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel.
