Fred Romine

Romine, Fred, age 85, of West Carrollton, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. Fred was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran proudly serving during WWII. He retired from General Motors with over 36 years of service and was a member of Miamisburg Assembly of God Church. Fred is survived by his wife of 19 years: Edna Romine; daughter and son-in-law: Betsy (Jerry) Dillion; son and daughter-in-law: Fred (Linda) Romine; grandchildren: Kim, Michelle, Selena, Nathan, Nicole; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother: Bill Weddington; step son: Robert Clarke; step granddaughter: Lisa; 1 step great great grandchild; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Fred & Betty (Gilliam) Romine; grandson: Chris and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 28, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor John Swint officiating. Interment will follow the service at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Xenia. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
