Fred H. W. Hamilton

Fred H.W. Hamilton, age 80 of Kettering, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. He was born November 12, 1939 in Jackson County, Tennessee to John B. and Marybelle (Smith) Hamilton. Fred married JoAlice Bowles in Dayton Gospel Temple in Dayton, OH by Reverend Timothy Hume.

Fred is survived by his three sisters, Lucille (Franklin) Gentry, Frances M. Wilson and Lillie B. Browder; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Anna May Stamps; nephews, Rickie and Jamie Stamps and Jerry and Jamie Wilson; a niece, Angela Wilson; and brother in laws, Edward Browder and Larry Wilson.

Fred retired from Hewitt Soap Company after 33 years. He also worked part time for Gray's Security for over 30 years. Fred dedicated his life to the Lord, was a longtime member of Dayton Gospel Temple and attended Spaulding Road Church of God for many years as well. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in the Dayton area. Fred loved to play his guitar and sing music. He loved his pets, three cats and his poodle named Baby.

Private Funeral Services were held May 13, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 with Pastor Larry Thomas officiating. A private family visitation was held prior to the services. Burial followed the services at David's Cemetery, Kettering, OH.
