Franziska Ward

Ward, Franziska "Connie", age 80, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles W. Ward and her daughter: Marlene Ward. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Millie (Dale) Thomas of Kettering; granddaughter: Jennifer Markowski of Centerville; grandson: Michael Konkler Jr. of Englewood; great grandchildren: Mindy and husband William Wertz, Chelsea & Samantha Markowski; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Robert & Edith Ward; nieces: Pam and husband Doug Teets, Sherie and husband Dave Hungler, Veronica and husband Dave Huliba.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 8, at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering with Chaplain Prudence Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Contributions, if desired may be made to Hospice of Dayton. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Hospice of Dayton as well as Dr. James Derksen and Dr. James Laws and their entire staff for all of their wonderful and loving care.
