Franklin Wheeler

WHEELER, Franklin A., age 72, of Dayton, passed away Sun., Sept. 17, 2006 at Vandalia Park Nursing Center. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2005 and his parents Rufus & Vena Wilson Wheeler. Franklin is survived by his son James Wheeler of Dayton; 3 daughters Cheryl Brewer, Valerie Smith and Bonnie Owens all of Dayton; 2 granddaughters Kara and Shana Wheeler both of Columbus; 1 grandson Christopher Brewer of Dayton; 8 sisters and 2 brothers. He was a truck mechanic for Cornett Trucking, Moraine, for many years until 1983 and then he and Mary worked at the Boys and Girls Club and the Boy Scouts Camp for 20 years. Graveside services 1:30 P.M., Fri., Sept. 22, 2006 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
