Franklin D. Reese, Sr.

Franklin D. Reese, Sr., age 76 of Medway,OH, passed away June 12, 2017. He was born November 1, 1940 in Peterstown, WV to the late Roger and Gladys (Karnes) Reese. In addition to his parents, Franklin was preceded in death by his sister, Maryetta Craig; brothers, Pat and Fred Reese all of Peterstown, WV.

He is survived by his loving wife, Libby Reese; children, Penny (Andrew) Stallard, Teresa (Mike) Goudreau, Tina (Duane) McVannel and Franklin (Andrea) Reese, Jr.; grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan, Randy, Allyn (Rebecca), Mallory, Ashton, Caleb and Kerrah; great-granddaughter, Amber; siblings, Roy (Joyce) Reese, Nannie Rance and Cammie Ayers; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Franklin worked at Chrysler AirTemp in Dayton. He was a former president of CLPOA. Franklin was a founding member and former president of Medway Area Historical Society. He volunteered at Bethel Township Fire Dept. for traffic control. Franklin was also a former president of REACT in Clark County and he volunteered at WPAFB in the retirement center for over 18 years. He had a big passion for restoring, collecting and working on Wheel Horse Tractors.

Family will receive friends from 3-5 PM on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 5 PM.
